Northstar Power Sports has committed to support local racers in local and regional races in western PA and eastern Ohio.
NPS will support racers in virtually every off road racing categories, including motocross, GNCC, CRA, AWRCS, etc. If you are a contender or a casual racer NPS has a program for you.

Northstar Power Sports
2007 Racing Support
Program 

The NPS Racing program is offered by Northstar Power Sports to those wanting to race Kawasaki motorcycles and Polaris ATVs in western PA and Eastern Ohio. 

Local Racer Support

Eligible ATVs:
Adults: Polaris Predator or Outlaw
Youth: Polaris Predator 90

Eligible Motorcycles:
Adults: Kawasaki KX250F, KX450F or KX250

Youth: Kawasaki KX 100, 85, 65           

3 Categories:

1. Contender - 5 Sponsorships are available (for experienced and contending racers over the age of 15.)
2. Contender Yourth - 5 Sponsorships are available (for experienced and contending racers over the age of 8 and under the age of 16.
3. Racer - 20 Racer Sponsorships are available (for new and recreational racers over the age of 7)

Eligible Sponsorships are limited and available as follows:

Minimum rider age for Contender category is 16 or 8 by June 1, 2007
Minimum rider age for Racer category is 8 by June 1, 2007

Contender

Requirements:

1. Resume required – Applicant must provide resume of racing experience
2. Must be racing on an eligible model bike or quad purchase from Northstar Power Sports unless purchased prior to Northstar Power Sports opening.
3. Contenders must have been ranked in top 20 of their Class in previous season or have placed in the top 10 in 3 or more races the previous season.
4. Contenders must complete the minimum number of races required in a season.
5. Contenders must report personal results after each race.
6. Contenders may display Trophies at Northstar Power Sports
7. NPS Racing Graphics must be displayed on all units and on trailer or truck. (Provided by Northstar Power Sports Racing.
8. Contender can not receive support from any other dealer, nor carry any other dealer’s logo, name or graphics on the racing unit or transport.
9. Contender must be willing, if asked and available, to act in consultation and in support of  NPS’s racing program including other racers supported by NPS.
10. Contenders must maintain the highest of personal conduct when participating in a race or event as a representative of NPS.
11. Any act of poor sportsmanship will be a reason for removal from the program.

Benefits:

1. Best available price on a new qualifying unit.
2. 20% discount on OEM repair parts during calendar year.
3. 10% to 20% discounts on performance parts depending on Manufacturer.
4. Contingency prizes for 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place each race. Awarded in credit at Northstar Power Sports.  (for 2007 - $50 1^st, $30 2^nd, $20 3^rd.)
5. Express delivery of critical parts.  Order on Monday, have by Thursday. Not responsible for delays beyond our control.
6. Recognition at Northstar Power Sports.

 Racer

Requirements

1. Must be racing on an eligible model bike or quad.
2. Submit resume of riding/racing history (we understand that this may be limited for beginners.)
3. Racer must provide schedule to NPS prior to season.
4. Racer must notify NPS of any schedule change.
5. Racer must report personal results after each race.
6. NPS Graphics on all units - provided by NPS
7. Racers can not receive support from any other dealer, nor carry any other dealer’s logo, name or graphics on the racing unit or transport
8. Racers must maintain the highest of personal conduct when participating in a race or event as a representative of  NPS.
9. Any act of poor sportsmanship will be a reason for removal from the program.
